Promotion conference for expats’ inbound tourism held in Guangzhou

Bordering Hong Kong and Macao, Guangdong is the cradle of Cantonese culture and cuisine, China's manufacturing powerhouse with bustling wholesale markets, and home to the renowned Canton Fair, which will host its next edition in October. Every year, visitors from around the world flock to the province for both travel and business purposes.
On Thursday, July 25, a promotion conference was held to announce the latest updates in the province's inbound tourism market and to discuss policies and measures aimed at improving the visitor experience.
Since May 2019, South China's Guangdong province has introduced a 144-hour visa-free transit policy for travelers from 54 countries, including the US, the UK, and Canada.
